From a zero base, across multiple economic cycles, he built one of the UKs largest privately owned property companies before making the decision to liquidate in 2006/07 ahead of the global financial crisis.
Mark founded Praxis in 2009 to capitalise on the unprecedented investment opportunities arising from the Global Financial Crisis and has since guided the company to a position of prominence in the UK real estate market.
As part of his role as Group CEO, Mark is responsible for setting Praxis’ capital allocation strategies, managing risk across the Group, and chairing the investment committee.

He later transitioned into the private equity sector where he gained extensive experience of originating, underwriting, and managing a diverse portfolio of UK property.
James joined Praxis in 2016 and works across the business with responsibility for the implementation of the portfolios business plans.

Matt's experience includes raising capital and supporting the investment process across acquisition and development. Matt leads the finance function encompassing operational finance, financing relationships, structuring, taxation, compliance and reporting.

During this time, and in addition to his legal work, he held numerous non-executive roles in the real estate, health, and education sectors.
David was appointed NED to Praxis in 2011 before joining the executive Board in 2019. He brings a wealth of practical legal and commercial counsel to assist the business to achieve its commercial objectives.

Prior to Praxis, Charlie spent five years at Squarestone HUB, building a large UK regional office platform which was subsequently sold to Regional REIT.
Charlie studied Real Estate at the University of Reading and began his career at Strutt & Parker, working within the Industrial Investment and London Development teams whilst qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor.

He joined the business in 2024 from Brockton Capital, where he chaired the Investment Committee whilst overseeing the fund management, portfolio management, and investor relations functions, representing more than 70 institutional and high-net-worth clients and a portfolio of approximately £7.0 billion GAV.
Before Brockton, he was an analyst at M&G Real Estate and a Chartered Accountant in the Banking and Capital Markets team at EY. Calum studied theoretical physics at the University of St Andrews.
